For 30 years, the Festival of Vézère livened up 21 places of heritage in the heart of the rich holdings of the Corrèze and the Valley of Vézère.
The village of Le Saillant is the typical example of a village kept in the former style: that of the XVIIIth century. Houses are had on both sides the main artery and grouped together around the former chapel of the castle ; we used for the construction of the materials of the country: stone and slate. It is about an exceptional set which asks to be protected in its current state.
A castle, a romantic park, a chapel, a bridge, a beautiful river … Here are the main elements which confer, besides the village itself, all its interest on this site.
The concerts of this 30th Festival will be hold in eleven prestigious sites.
